In this section you'll learn the minimal HW and SW requirements for operation of C-Monitor clients for different operating systems, as well as the minimal requirements for operation of the CM Server.

HW and SW operation requirements of C-Monitor clients for different operating systems

For Microsoft operating systems

Supported editions: Windows XP - and higher

Drive capacity: 40 GB HDD, - HDD load up to 500MB

Memory requirements: 512 MB RAM, RAM load cca 30-40 MB

Processor - any kind, performance doesn't matter, the core load is optimized
 

For (MAC) OS X operating systems

Supported editions: list of supported editions may be found in the section Supported editions

Loading: Loading depends on JAVE SE 6 and higher (Installed automatically if it's not present in the system, you'll be prompted for its installation)

Drive capacity: 50MB

Memory requirements:
     1. service/daemon (system part, which processes commands, collects and sends data) - 70MB
     2. GUI (user interface) - 70MB

For Linux / FreeBSD operating systems

Supported editions: list of supported editions may be found in the section Supported editions

Drive capacity: 50MB

Memory requirements: Service - 30MB (depending on Java)

Note: Linux and FreeBSD don't have a graphic interface
